As Compact Discs are starting to fade more and more, the digital download age seems to be getting larger by the day. Downloads of movies, music, videos, and games is becoming commonplace in almost every household. With Mp3 players, ipods, zunes and other digital media players becoming cheaper and cheaper, many are converting all of their media to digital so that they can carry it where ever they go. However, with the digital age, good and bad go hand in hand.
Free download sites are widespread across the internet today and many people are taking advantage of them since they don’t have to pay a penny. However, most of these sites are run illegally and the files that are shared over them have no regulation causing issues for unsuspecting downloaders.
Not only are these free downloading sites illegal, but since they are not regulated, the files that are shared often contain hidden viruses, Trojans, and other types of spyware within the main file. This can cause serious damage to your computer’s operating system and can sometimes cause it to be inoperable.
